After unboxing the necessities - and hearing an inspiring speech by Robert Scheer of #comfortcases - dozens of employees spent the morning filling bags with pajamas, toiletries, books, toys, blankets, and inspiring cards signed by each volunteer. These Comfort Cases are now with KAFPA (Kinship, Adopted Foster Parent Association) of Santa Clara County, ready to make a difference for local youth in need as they move into their new homes. We plan to host more of these packing parties in 2025 as we continue to donate one backpack for every new Closet Factory client who does business with us. Couchbase, Comfort Cases, and Closet Factory Bay Area teamed up to host a packing party to support some of the Bay Area’s most vulnerable youth – children entering the foster care system. 🎒   Volunteers filled hundreds of new backpacks donated by Closet Factory Bay Area through its Closet Factory Cares initiative. Almost 100 excited volunteers packed these bags with new pajamas, socks, blankets, stuffed animals, books, activity materials, and hygiene kits. 👏   The packed Comfort Cases have been given to representatives of KAFPA (Kinship, Adopted Foster Parent Association) of Santa Clara County, who will be on hand to receive the bags so they can be distributed to youth in need within the area! 🫶

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Comfort Cases, and Isaiah House 1:17 joined forces at the Ross Community Center in Muncie to host a heartwarming event aimed at improving the lives of foster care children throughout Delaware County. Last week, PROS Houston office celebrated International Volunteer Day with our Global Day of Caring event. Partnering with Comfort Cases, Inc., we packed bags filled with essentials like pajamas, hygiene kits, books, stuffed toys, and more for children entering foster care, ensuring they don’t have to carry their belongings in trash bags. It was heartwarming to know we were helping these children feel loved. A special highlight was meeting Merri Hahn from BEAR...BE A Resource for CPS Kids, who will be distributing our bags to many deserving children. I’m honored to lead the PROS Cares Global Volunteer Program alongside Kassie Dyakon, PHR.
