CCI's Project Team working on the Catholic Charities of Central Colorado's Helen Hunt transitional housing project continues to report great progress. Work continues to progress for CCI's project team within The Mining Exchange Hotel. The space soon to be "Oro" Restaurant is starting to take shape - and look at the wonderful patterned tile being set this week.

Colarelli Construction was well represented at last weekend's We Fortify "Gala-Not-Gala." So wonderful see our team members embrace this year's "Cowboy Cocktail" theme! We Fortify is a non-profit organization that aims to build stronger communities by addressing housing insecurity, one innovative project at a time. A special CCI "Thank you" to We Fortify's Founder and CEO Shelley Jensen for hosting such a wonderful event at the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame.

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center and Construction Manager Colarelli Construction have been making wonderful progress on two projects during the month of November. Phase 1 of the New Pharmacy Lab clean room was recently completed, which includes upgraded ventilation and a chemical pharmacy hood. Additionally, the Delnay Guest House is nearing completion. The Delnay residences will serve two important community purposes: the four "hospitality units" will be available for charitable, overnight lodging for HRRMC and home health patients, caregivers, or family members, as well as hospice patient’s family members who are traveling over 30 miles to Salida; six short-term-rental units will provide HRRMC employees with affordable living spaces while they seek permanent housing in the area.

This week, the CCI project team is working on framing and drywall within a downtown project; these are early steps to transform a restaurant space into gold: "Oro." Oro will be The Mining Exchange Hotel's new Italian dining experience and promises to offer a Tuscan Menu with fresh Colorado provisions. Stay tuned!

The CCI project team provides an update on the Helen Hunt transitional housing project. This project, which Colarelli is undertaking with Catholic Charities of Central Colorado, is converting the vacant Helen Hunt Elementary School into 24 multi-family residences that will serve families on the edge of homelessness. The CCI team reports that progress has been going very well so far, with exterior work including filling-in brick and stucco, and first and second floor work including framing and rough-in on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. #AffordableHousing #CatholicCharities #ColoradoSprings

Our CCI team at the ambulatory surgery center project is working diligently to finish exterior and site work before the snow flies. The team reports that the roof work is complete as are the exterior finishes at this Stout Road jobsite (located just off of Voyager Parkway). Coming soon - asphalt!
