Home for the holidays! This #PHX mom purchased her first home for her and her son through the Phoenix Housing Department Section 32 Program. The program helps first-time, low-income homebuyers afford a place to call their own and guidance through the purchase process. She rented for several years through the City’s Scattered Sites affordable rental program, while working hard to achieve her dream of a forever home for her family. #PHXSolutions Learn more: https://bit.ly/49KJJaJ

BEEP, BEEP -- everyone who wants to learn digital skills, get in! 🚚 After launching five Hives across Arizona (spaces where community members can access and learn technology) it was time to take the premise on the road. Enter: the Mobile Hive -- a state-of-the-art technology hub on wheels designed to bring essential digital tools, support, and connectivity directly to communities throughout Arizona. This is particularly helpful for rural communities where residents don't have as many options for access and training. Serving as a pop-up classroom and digital support center, the new Mobile Hive offers workspaces, internet-connected devices, 3D printers, robotics, virtual reality, and telehealth equipment. Plus, our Digital Navigators are on hand to assist with digital training and support! Learn more: https://lnkd.in/ght5k3-D

Last week, Phoenix Housing Director, Titus Mathew, stood alongside Atlantic Development & Investments, Inc. and many partners to celebrate the grand opening of The Reserve at Thunderbird II. The City of Phoenix is proud to support this transformative affordable housing development, which was funded through a collaborative effort, leveraging $1 million in HOME program funds, $22.9 million in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) equity, and various loans. The project exemplifies innovative financing to maximize affordability! Together with Phase I of The Reserve at Thunderbird (108 units) in the same location, this is now 242 affordable units, rich in amenities and supported by community partners offering tenants on-site access to healthcare services, job placement, and other support services. Congratulations on opening The Reserve at Thunderbird II! Arizona Department of Housing, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS)
