The company focuses on creating apps, including Rocketpros and Rocketpro Lite, that automate the collision repair shop management experience for staff and customers. “From parts analysis to estimate line analysis, customer interactions, Google review aggregation, performance tracking, technician tracking, AI analysis and more, none of this could be done without CIECA standards,” said Myles Chaput, the company's founder and senior developer. Chaput noted that it’s important to have a consistent, scalable data structure. “It’s the only way we can do what we do, and for that, CIECA standards are absolutely necessary,” he added. CIECA (Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association) develops collision industry electronic standards, codes and standard messages and provides implementation guides to make the industry more efficient. All standards are developed by members. CIECA is composed of members of the automobile collision repair industry: repairers, insurers, vehicle manufacturers, parts and material suppliers, information and software providers, general service providers and related segments and industries. CIECA's goals are to deliver benefits to all participants through reduced development and support costs, lower cost of implementation, reduced barrier to entry and faster development times.

Welcome to new CIECA member Claim Transparency Innovations! Established by Robert L. McDorman and Brian Deorsam, the company developed an in-house proprietary collision claim management portal for body shops called Transparent Claim. Deorsam, the portal’s developer, said that it’s critical that everything is centralized into one standard. “This enables us to communicate more efficiently with each other and share data,” he noted. “It is important that we have a transparent industry standard for using and sharing data,” added McDorman. “I applaud CIECA and its vision.” Read more: https://lnkd.in/gbfr3DRd #collision #collisionrepair #claims #data #standards #CIECAStandards

During the December 5 CIECA Webinar, CCC Intelligent Solutions Vice President of Marketing Maryling Yu will share insight on the key drivers of customer satisfaction and retention in the auto claims and repair process. The information is based on CCC's Moments of Truth study. “CCC’s recent study reveals that consumer satisfaction with insurers and repairers in a claims experience is closely linked, and that their collaboration plays a pivotal role in each other's satisfaction scores," said Yu.
