Restoring Lives Impacted By Trauma.

About us

The Children & Family Advocacy Center was established after the merge of the Children's Advocacy Center of Benton County and Restoration Village, two long-standing non-profits dedicated to restoring the lives of those impacted by trauma. In 2023 the two organizations merged to better serve their community as ONE TEAM. ONE MISSION. ONE VOICE. The Children & Family Advocacy Center's purpose is to empower those impacted by trauma by providing a safe place to receive comprehensive services through a coordinated team approach from dedicated trauma-informed professionals.

  • At the Children & Family Advocacy Center, women and children like Stacy and her kids find more than just a safe place to sleep—they find a path to healing, empowerment, and a brighter future. Through our residential program, survivors of trauma and crisis receive essential on-site services, including counseling and advocacy. But healing doesn’t stop there. The CFAC also offers community opportunities where women can expand their skills, build confidence, and prepare for new beginnings. From career workshops to parenting classes and life-skills training, our residents are given the tools they need to rebuild their lives and create stability for their future. Every day, they take brave steps toward resilience. None of this would be possible without the support of our donors. Your generosity directly funds the services and resources these families need to heal and thrive. Together, we can make sure that every woman and child who walks through our doors has the chance to rewrite their story. Will you support them today? https://lnkd.in/gPPYZWqz

  • We’re grateful to have once again partnered with Lingle Middle School students who created artwork that lines the halls of our buildings. The students’ pieces beautifully represents the resilience of our clients and the healing nature of our services. At the recent Art Show to debut these pieces, attended by friends and family, attendees were given the chance to learn about the work we do at the Children & Family Advocacy Center and how the art brings joy to our clients. Thank you for your creativity and support in spreading hope and healing!

  • In addition to our direct services, the Children & Family Advocacy Center is committed to expanding our educational programming to better serve the community. We offer training for schools, youth organizations, businesses, and the public on critical topics like Body Safety, Responding to Abuse, and Prevention. As we continue to expand our educational reach, we need your support to ensure these vital programs can grow. Your donation will directly fund the development and expansion of our educational department, enabling us to offer more in-depth training on child abuse prevention, teach vital skills to recognize and respond to abuse, and empower our community to take an active role in keeping children safe. Each of these training costs $120 to facilitate. Donate today to help expand our educational efforts and create a safer, more informed community. https://lnkd.in/gPPYZWqz #GivingTuesday #ChildAbusePrevention #CommunityEducation #EndChildAbuse

This Giving Tuesday, your donation can help provide the vital mental health support children, women, and families need to rebuild their lives. • Our acute services team respond to child maltreatment allegations. One step in the client journey to healing is offering a child-first setting where expertly trained forensic interviewers offer an opportunity to be a listening ear to a child. The goal is to reduce the number of times a child shares their experience, ensuring their voice is heard in a safe, neutral space. Forensic interviewers work closely with our multidisciplinary team, which includes law enforcement, child services, and prosecutors. While the interview may be the only time a child meets with a forensic interviewer, it is a critical step in our cycle of comprehensive, holistic and trauma-informed care. Each interview costs $180 and is provided at no charge to our clients. On Giving Tuesday, your donation can help provide this essential service, creating a safe space for children in need and impacting their path to healing. Will you help? https://lnkd.in/gPPYZWqz

  • On this Giving Tuesday we are highlighting what our staff and services give to our clients. Come with us throughout the day as we follow the client journey across our social channels. Often the first point of contact for our clients is one of our advocates. Advocates provide invaluable support to families during their most difficult times, guiding them through the process and connecting them to essential resources. Your gift of $300 ensures continued advocacy services for a family in need, allowing us to offer compassionate care and assistance beyond the waiting room. Your donation can make a lasting difference in someone's life. https://lnkd.in/gPPYZWqz

  • In the midst of Black Friday deals flooding your feed, we want to shift the focus toward impactful giving this season.
