🚀 Post Doc Opportunity: Highly Translational Cell Therapy Lab: Neurodegeneration Our long-time collaborators at Dartmouth College have an open position for a Research Scientist at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. This is a full-time position in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology located in Lebanon, NH. The successful candidate will become part of a dynamic team developing novel CAR T cell therapy approaches to treat Alzheimer's Disease and ALS. 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗡 will continue to support the growth of biotech across 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲, 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁, 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗵𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱. Honored to be honored with the 2024 Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Waterloo, a place that played a pivotal role in shaping my academic and professional lives. Perennially Canada's most innovative university, it’s rewarding to reflect on how my time there has influenced my career, yes, but also my worldview, and especially how Waterloo’s commitment to scientific innovation continues to inspire both the young, and the young at heart. Special thanks to the Faculty (especially my undergraduate thesis advisor Linda Nazar and everybody's favorite lab instructor Jacob Fisher) who challenge minds, push the boundaries of knowledge ever forward, and cultivate tomorrow’s leaders in science.
