As 2025 approaches, we’re reflecting on the incredible 2024 we've had at Celadyne Technologies. In our six-year journey, this year has been pivotal – marked by transformative partnerships, major wins, and growth in both our team and community. This year, we… – Raised $4.5M in seed investment funding, co-led by our friends at Maniv and Dynamo Ventures, with major participation from Eastern Pacific Shipping Pte. Ltd. – Expanded into heavy-duty systems with durable hydrogen fuel cells, supporting the likes of General Motors and their fuel cell roadmap, enabling their new hydrogen-efficient approach to electric vehicles. – Launched our Army SBIR Phase II project, in partnership with the US Army. This $1.9M expansion contract is helping to further integrate advanced membranes into 50 kW fuel cells for support vehicle applications. – Launched CAPRI, the Celadyne Academic Partnerships for Research and Innovation, to advance and broaden our collaborations with universities and national labs working to develop a pipeline of hydrogen technologies. – Shared our messaging with people all over the country at events like TechConnect’s #DTC24, For ClimateTech's Innovation Showcase, Sustainable Energy Council’s H2 Americas, CERAWeek, California Hydrogen Convention, Hydrogen Technology Expo North America, and the TechConnect World Innovation Conference. – Hosted our very own World Hydrogen Day to highlight the importance of the chemical element and embrace a future where cleaner, greener energy is the norm. We were joined by some incredible partners to make this day a reality, including Argonne National Laboratory, World Business Chicago, CBRE, mHUB , University of Chicago, and City of Chicago. – Made it on the lists for Chicago Inno’s Startups To Watch, the Chicago Fire Awards, and CB Insights Future Tech Hotshots. – Met new (& old) friends at TechChicago's Chicago Climate Week Climate Tech Cocktails, World Business Chicago’s “A Toast to Chicago’s Business & Culture”, and our very own H2 Summer Party co-hosted by Fulton Labs!  – And celebrated Celadyne’s 6th birthday! 🥳 Thank you to everyone who made 2024 the memorable and impactful year that it was! We're excited to share that Celadyne Technologies is amongst the 14 projects included in the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)'s latest Critical Materials Collaborative investment. This funding is a part of the DOE's mission to strengthen and streamline manufacturing for high-impact components and technologies such as hydrogen fuel cells, magnets for high-efficiency motors, high-performance lithium-ion batteries, and high-yield low-defect power electronics. “DOE is helping reduce the nation’s dependence on foreign supply chains through innovative solutions that will tap domestic sources of the critical materials needed for next-generation technologies. These investments – part of our industrial strategy – will keep America’s growing manufacturing industry competitive while delivering economic benefits to communities nationwide.” – Jennifer Granholm, U.S. Secretary of Energy The DOE has been a trusted partner and resource of ours for years, and their continued support is why we are able to do what we do.
