I'm excited to speak at DC Startup & Tech Week (Formerly DC Startup Week)! As the DC area’s largest event for entrepreneurs and startups, it's the perfect opportunity to share insights on navigating the journey from idea to execution. I’ll be speaking on 'Growing from 0-100 Customers: Telling a Story that Sells' on Monday, October 21st. Building CarpeDM from the ground up wasn’t easy—scaling a brand from zero is a relentless challenge, but one that’s deeply rewarding when you see a vibrant community emerge around it. I’m looking forward to sharing the lessons learned and strategies that helped us grow along this journey. I’d love for you to attend the event and hear my talk: https://lnkd.in/g2m9D2y8

It’s been an exciting time of connection and community-building. Our team had the honor of attending Women In Washington hosted by Washingtonian Magazine and the Women in Tech dinner by DC Startup & Tech Week (Formerly DC Startup Week). These events provided curated spaces for female founders to come together, share resources, and support one another. A special thank you to JPMorganChase for hosting these events so that women can connect and excel. We are grateful for the opportunity to engage with these dynamic communities! #WomenInTech #FemaleFounders #WomenWhoLead

Thank you to the team at Charlottesville Business Innovation Council (CBIC) for inviting me to screen Show Her the Money and speak on an entrepreneurship panel discussing my experience as a female founder! Not only was the film fantastic, but it also features one of my favorite founder friends Jasmine Jones! I loved seeing her business highlighted alongside the businesses of the other women in the film. I also loved that my 16y/o nephew got the see the film with me and he learned so much. Our ride home was filled with him asking questions about my journey as a startup founder. Great bonding time 😊 If you haven't seen Show Her the Money, please support! The documentary follows female investors, connectors, and founders as they each navigate the male-dominated landscape that is venture and angel investing. Thank you Adeola Ajani, MBA for snapping a few pictures and engaging with the panel! 🖤
2nd time watcher! Great joining Ascending Angels for Show Her the Money by Ky Dickens and Catherine Gray! Amazing panel after with the amazing Naza Shelley from CarpeDM. Also great to see Pauline Idogho as well!
