The Carlson Integrated team comprises amazing women from all over the country. Though CI is based in Chicago, our team is entirely remote. We have younger and more seasoned professionals, each with their own niches of experience and strengths.   This past year, we had each of our team members do a Strength Finder and began working to maximize our gifts to help our team be more efficient and help us all feel more fulfilled in what we do with CI. We found many surprises along the way and are excited to share new insights about our team and what they bring to CI and our clients in the coming months.

Our clients have done amazing things this year, and we have been so blessed to help them in countless ways. Over the past 12 months, we have created and posted 5,000+ Social Media posts, crafted and sent 150+ Digital Eblasts and Newsletters, optimized and developed 50+ Websites, and designed 50+ Flyers, Brochures, and Pitch Decks. That is a lot of marketing put out into the world to help share all the amazing things our clients have to offer. This doesn’t even count the strategies, business development, and other projects undertaken to help them with their efforts. We can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store.   #ourclients #bythenumbers

With the New Year upon us, we have been discussing setting goals and reflecting on those we have both achieved and missed this past year. All that talk made us wonder about the science of goal setting.   Did you know that studies in neuroscience tell us that goal-setting actually rewires our brains? It’s linked to higher motivation, self-esteem, confidence, and autonomy (yes please to all those). Once you get a goal in your head, your brain will continue to nudge you about it until you begin working towards or achieve it.    When we set a goal, we are biologically programming our brains to change or create new behaviors and reach them. Creating focus on specific goals allows the brain to create new, stronger bonds between neurons that help increase the likelihood that we achieve our goals.   So that means goal setting is not just a good practice for our organizations but impacts everyone within them. Shared goals can positively impact our culture and help everyone grow in positive ways.
