As you may have seen, Cargo Transporters proudly joined the mission of Wreaths Across America to honor the sacrifices of our nation’s heroes at Arlington National Cemetery. Sherri Strahan, one of our Fleet Leaders, participated in this heartfelt event alongside her daughter, Samantha. Sherri placed a wreath at her mother’s headstone in Arlington National Cemetery, a deeply personal and emotional moment. Sherri’s mother, the former president of the Navy Wives Club, and her father, a U.S. Navy veteran, dedicated their lives to supporting military families and serving our country. For Sherri, this was a way to honor their legacy and reflect on the sacrifices of all those who have served. “Placing a wreath on my mother’s grave gives me a sense that she is part of my Christmas and not just a memory,” Sherri shared. We are honored to support Sherri and all participants who joined the mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach. This morning, Cargo Transporters had the privilege of taking part in Wreaths Across America at Arlington National Cemetery. We are beyond proud of all the drivers who played a role in this important event—from those who hauled wreaths to destinations across the country to the two drivers honored to represent us at Arlington with their Freightliner Ride of Pride trucks. We also want to thank our incredible operations team for organizing the complex logistics that make events like this possible and our garage team for ensuring our trucks are always running in top condition. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped to admire our trucks, take photos, and ask questions. Wreaths Across America: Meet the Driver - Bruce Dollinger Bruce is a veteran and one of Cargo Transporters’ drivers participating in this year’s Wreaths Across America event. For Bruce, this opportunity is more than just a delivery—it’s a chance to pay tribute to the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice. “I’m extremely honored to be involved in such a meaningful tradition,” Bruce shares. “Honoring those who have fallen makes this event deeply personal to me. It’s an honor and a privilege.” Though this is Bruce’s first time hauling wreaths, he reflects on both the challenges and the rewards that are to come. Being away from home is never easy, but the significance of this mission outweighs the difficulties. “The most rewarding part is simply being a part of it,” he says.
