“The intensive program was just the catalyst I needed to regain my life back from OCD. I was given an exceptional number of CBT and ACT tools to combat my intrusive thoughts and to say ‘yes’ to the fear rather than shrinking from it. Thank you!” -GB, age 26 Over the past year, our IOP team has had the privilege of working alongside numerous clients during our 2-week Intensive CBT Program for Anxiety and OCD. We love receiving beautiful testimonials such as the one above that remind us just how impactful the program can be for clients who are struggling with severe symptoms and are feeling stuck. We are accepting new clients for our IOP immediately, with no waitlist. We're proud to share that CPG psychologist, Dr. Jasmine Mote, published an Op-Ed in Scientific American. She discusses the science behind sleep training, the mental health benefits for parents, and how everything from setting a bedtime routine to “crying it out” can help both parents and babies get better sleep. You can find the article at the link below. Dr. Mote provides therapy to adults with mood, anxiety, and psychosis-spectrum disorders, as well as to those experiencing major life transitions. She welcomes the opportunity to work with new parents, including helping mothers navigate the difficulties and stress that can accompany pregnancy and the postpartum period. Reach out to info@cambridgepsych.org if you’re interested in working with her. https://lnkd.in/eGRDEYY8
