C.A. Pretzer Associates was founded in 1977 by C. Andrew Pretzer, and is currently run by two of his stepsons. Not only does our work include the design of new, and the renovation of existing, buildings, but also the design of anchorage systems for stone veneer, and forensics investigation for insurance companies.
Our stone veneer work has included such high profile projects as the Capitol Visitor’s Center, and World War II Memorial in Washington, DC, and the 9/11 Memorial and many office buildings in New York City.
Many insurance companies and adjusters call upon C.A. Pretzer Associates to perform forensic investigations on claims ranging from a leaky roof, to catastrophic damage caused by weather events. We have been involved in investigations from such events as Hurricanes Katrina (2005), Irene (2011), Harvey (2017), Irma (2017), and Maria (2017), and Superstorm Sandy (2012). Our work related to hurricanes has taken us across the Southern United States, the Caribbean, and even to Hawaii.
