  • For many, the holiday season brings joy, celebration, and moments of reflection. However, for Christian leaders in the workplace, it can also present a unique challenge: choosing how to greet others at this time of year. Should you say “Merry Christmas,” staying true to your faith and the reason for the season? Or should you choose the more culturally neutral “Happy Holidays” to avoid conflict or offending others? This may seem like a minor decision, but for many Christian workplace leaders, it is much more profound. It concerns living out our faith boldly while navigating the expectations of an increasingly pluralistic society. For Christians, Christmas is not just another holiday; it’s the celebration of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. “Merry Christmas” is more than just a greeting—it acknowledges this profound truth. Yet, many of us are caught in a cultural dilemma year after year. Please click below to read the latest Great Commission Gazette article by contribution author Angilie Kapoor. • In a local public school, a 2nd grader was recently asked to choose between a blue and pink crayon to “determine” their gender identity. Let that sink in. Imagine the confusion and anxiety this creates in the hearts of young children—children who should be focused on learning and growing, not grappling with distorted ideologies. Now, consider how much more pronounced these pressures become at the high school level, where impressionable teenagers face even more significant challenges to their identity and faith. Bethel Christian School, Inc. will stand firm on God’s Word. The school unapologetically affirms that God creates each person as male or female, from conception until natural death. These two distinct genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Gen. 1:26-28). Bethel Christian is more than a high school—it’s a refuge where students are anchored in Biblical truths, equipped to discern right from wrong, and supported in their walk with Christ. The C-Suite for Christ movement is honored to support Caleb Sheets and his leadership team as they bring this Christ-centric organization into existence. Will you join us in this effort? • As a lifelong believer, my journey with Christ took a profound turn in my twenties when I truly grasped the magnitude of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. This revelation has fueled my passion for sharing the Gospel, a mission I’ve been privileged to pursue in various professional roles, including my current business owner and podcast host position. My career has taken me to many places, but one particular experience in London stands out as a testament to the power of the Holy Spirit’s guidance. • Everyone is on a path. Even if you’ve paused on the path, you’re still on a path. Here’s what we know about the path… The Path is unpredictable. [John 16:33] Predicting the path is what we obsess over. How far is it? What’s the terrain like? How long will it take? Will we get there safely? Less predicting, more pathing. You can’t settle the restlessness of uncertainty until you make “trust” your point of entry onto the path. • The holidays are a time of divergence. Their meaning and associated feelings can vary broadly from person to person. For most, it’s a season of joy filled with family, gifts, and celebration. For others, the holidays are a time of trial, darkened by losing loved ones, broken relationships, or stresses related to finances or health. We hope that wherever this season finds you, God is present and abundant in your life. Amidst holiday hoopla, far too many overlook the first six letters of “Christmas” - and how this holiday originated 2,000+ years ago in a manger in Bethlehem. C-Suite for Christ has more reasons for thanks than can be counted. Our growth and reach accelerated in 2024. Our geographical footprint and recognition by leading national figures grow steadily. Our mission to “Cover the World in Christ” snowballs. Setbacks ensue, as always … and our Holy Father leads us over, around, and through them. The gratitude we owe for His benevolence can’t be quantified. Yet, we’ll list a few of the blessings for which we are thankful: ·        The thousands of C-Suite for Christ stakeholders and the many thousands more who follow our ministry. Countless disciples engage daily with social media posts, powering our presence before those previously unaware. We eagerly await those who will finally feel the call to join as members – quoting Nehemiah 4:20, “Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, join us there. Our God will fight for us!” ·        The growing number of C-Suite for Christ chapters, now at 19, and their bold leaders who heed God’s call. The potential for more in 2025 is limitless! · The content creators whose talents provide Christ-centric materials to share our mission through outlets such as this page, YouTube channel, podcast, and many others. ·        The presenters at our growing number of events, such as the C-Suite for Christ Speakers Bureau. ·        The churches who have opened their doors for our events, such as Trinity Church for the Jan. 14-16 Winter Savior Summit and Elmbrook Church for the 2025 Covering the World in Christ Celebration. Most importantly, we thank God for His innumerable blessings that have lifted and propelled this ministry at every turn. C-Suite for Christ is run by people but directed by Him. We never lose focus on God as the one who makes all great things happen and how this ministry is tasked with bringing souls to the salvation of His son, Jesus Christ. May God’s blessings brighten your life this holiday season and throughout 2025. Paul M. Neuberger #leadership, #management, #motivation, #personaldevelopment, #entrepreneurship

  • It was 2001, and I was a week away from closing a loan to buy out the majority owner of the company I worked for. He wanted to retire from his family business and offered me a chance to buy him out. Little did I know everything would change because of a Google search. I had been part owner of the company for nine years and had helped buy out the founder. You would think I would be excited about the opportunity to become the majority owner, but I was unsettled. Why was I doing this? Why was I taking on the stress of more debt? Was I being a greedy capitalist? How would the extra stress affect my ability to stay involved at my church? • Most of us look forward to the holidays all year long, but truly, the pressures are immense. Not only do we spend November and December preparing for possible travel, family gatherings (even gathering with family we might not love so much if we’re honest), brainstorming, and stressing about perfect gift-giving, but we also strive to fit five-day work weeks into four or even three days. If we get an entire week or two off, we strive to fit the work from those weeks into the ones left behind. We have end-of-year deadlines to meet, making sure all the dollars have gone where they should for tax purposes and end-of-year financials and that everything that starts over at the beginning of the year, like benefits and the new-year goals and metrics, has a nice big bow on them by New Year's Eve. Let's add decorating for fall, taking it down, decorating for Christmas, and taking it down by the time we must go back to work the day after New Year's. This is for those of us in a season of the blessing of normalcy. Throw in any unexpected adversity, and well, you can imagine. But also this time of year, we see many businesses breaking the news of layoffs for Christmas and others giving the gift of separation packages, and the thought of uncertainty of the future tinged with grief and perhaps a little anger at forced change can be so difficult for all involved (especially by those on the receiving end and their families). We see posts about this from friends and peers daily, sadly, every December. Yet we're still expected to show up with the holiday cheer even if we're not feeling quite cheery. Additionally, this time is meant to celebrate our culture and is often a reminder of what we have lost. Whether those who have gone before you were family members or close friends, your longing for them during the holiday always feels amplified, and the gap they've left feels bigger. So, how do we stay positive when these converge into the perfect Holiday storm? Click below for the latest Great Commission Gazette article by contributing author APRIL JONES, PharmD, MBA.
