Today marks a bittersweet transition. MarComm, as a standalone entity, has concluded its final chapter. Acquired by Artisan Colour, MarComm has become a part of something greater. This will be the last time we write about MarComm as a business; MarComm is now a memory. While a touch of sadness accompanies our farewell to the MarComm brand, there's also a profound sense of fulfillment. The soul of MarComm – its spirit, passion, and unwavering commitment – lives on. Since founding MarComm in January of 2019, we have scaled mountains of success and overcame more obstacles than anyone will ever truly know. Yet, we emerged stronger, wiser, and filled with stories worth telling. The camaraderie, the hard-won victories, the grit, the lessons from MarComm — they will all carry forward. It’s important to know that this acquisition isn’t a story of loss but about the beauty of unexpected opportunities. It's a testament to the power of serendipity. It's about mutual respect, shared values, and the realization that sometimes, the most remarkable paths unfold when we least expect them. It's a homecoming, a place where we can thrive, be happy, and enjoy being surrounded by brilliant, kind, and genuinely good humans. Life has taught us that true success lies in surrounding yourself with genuine, extraordinary individuals. This acquisition is for one reason: pursuing true success in life. To Artisan Colour, thank you for your trust and for welcoming MarComm into your family, even though we represent a different generation, a different medium, and a different tolerance for playing golf in 114-degree weather. The brilliance of this acquisition is that, while Artisan Colour and MarComm differ in many ways, our hearts are aligned. And it is our shared pursuit of excellence that unites us. To MarComm, we bid you the most bittersweet farewell. You brought us to this point, and your legacy will forever shape our future as artisans. You are one of the most important and meaningful memories of our lives. The business of life is the acquisition of memories, after all. As such, we can’t put into words how proud, humbled, and excited we are to now make memories as artisans. Please join us in celebrating the launch of Artisan Colour’s new digital marketing team, and welcome to the new era of Artisan Colour! Tyler & Michelle https://lnkd.in/gHKKjXD6

"Another aspect of generative AI that has impacted SEO is due to the way that the large language models have been trained — that is, by using web content. Michelle Burson, president at MarComm, a B2B digital marketing agency, told CMSWire that she’s been optimizing (aka completely rewriting, restructuring and repositioning) blogs that were once top performers for clients due to all the people who used ChatGPT to create web content. “ChatGPT searched Bing, pulled in my blogs that ranked #1, and now there are dozens of garbage duplicates out there.” Burson has been rewriting her blogs using unique stories, data, quotes, images, angles, and insights that no other company could ever claim or use. “Good content marketers will always be one step ahead of AI-written garbage because we aren’t trained on datasets,” said Burson. “We don’t follow what every influencer says to do, we never outsource to overseas writers or AI and we have always understood the value of thinking outside the box.” Burson reiterated that good content marketers are constantly evolving, learning, and drawing on new experiences to find unobvious connections that provide genuinely helpful insights to their audiences."
