Ascent had a great experience at TSI, connecting with industry leaders and fire service members. Breakout sessions offered some great learning opportunities, and presentations from leaders like Chief Richard Kelley (OKC Fire), Garry Briese (Colorado Fire Chiefs), and Stefan Truthän were really impactful! It’s been amazing to witness the progress over the years and to reaffirm how Ascent is committed to listening, learning, and adapting to the needs of the fire service. Shawn Downs are doing in DC and what Mike Binney is doing in West Metro (Colorado) is impressive. The power of those projects, coupled with the possibilities of the 'impossible' will be transformative in how we view firefighter health and safety and fire ground operations.

While Chicago is feeling the chill, our team was in sunny California with Vista Fire Department and Oceanside Fire Department. We had the opportunity to demonstrate how we integrate smartwatches to deliver real-time health alerts and location tracking for first responders.
