We celebrated this milestone with a ribbon cutting and blessing, welcoming an exceptional all-female team of 3 fellowship-trained physicians, 6 nurse practitioners, and 4 dedicated RNs. Our team specializes in treating conditions like urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and overactive bladder using both conservative therapies and minimally invasive surgical options. Our mission is to help women regain confidence and improve their quality of life. Family Details: Mother Tymerria Duncan and Father Quentin Harris of Antioch welcomed baby Lennox at 9:59 a.m. weighing 3 pounds 15 ounces and measuring 17.5 inches long. The family is celebrating as we kick off 2025! As we reflect on the year, we're proud to look back at our ‘Medical Mission at Home’ event this summer. Ascension Saint Thomas came together with community organizations to serve more than 1,000 uninsured and underinsured individuals. With the support of more than 550 volunteers, those in need received free medical care, health screenings, behavioral health, dental care, prescriptions and more. Legendary musician John McEuen, a founding member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the life-saving cardiac care he received at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West. After undergoing triple-bypass surgery, John shared, "It’s not just hospital care—it's mission-driven. Everybody in the hospital shares in that mission." John, who accepted a JMA Lifetime Achievement Award in October, reflected on the significance of his recovery: "What’s bigger than that award is that I’m alive to receive it. After 26 remarkable years at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford, CEO Gordon B. Ferguson will retire in 2025. Under his leadership, the hospital relocated to a state-of-the-art campus, introduced cardiovascular surgery, and opened Tennessee’s first neighborhood hospital—transforming healthcare for Rutherford County.
