Our Development & Construction Team recently presented the latest installment of our Coffee Conversations series, in which different teams share their piece of what makes our organization work! In this presentation, the team shared insights on the development process from beginning to end. Carly Zapernick, Vice President of Development, Larry Work, Senior Vice President of Construction Management, Christopher T. Puschak, Vice President of Construction Management, Alec Deuter, Project Coordinator, Daniel Titus, Vice President of Construction Management, and Alicia Rucinski, Vice President of Design & Strategy, led the Article team through an hour-long course on the hard work that goes into curating the properties that we're so proud of.

These highlights of our 2024 Leasing & Marketing Manager Conference are just a peek into camaraderie, connection, and competitive spirit that drive our team members here at Article. This year's theme — Anchored — saw everyone come together at our home city of Chicago for a few days of learning and strengthening the connections that keep us thriving. We're already dreaming of next year!

On this Giving Tuesday, we'd like to shine the spotlight on our Culture Committee, which put together one of the most successful give-back events that Article has ever seen. In October, our team came together to honor Breast Cancer Awareness month by participating in a number of ways -- from awareness pins, to "pink-outs," to fundraising -- and our team was able to donate nearly $4,000 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation! This initiative saw our home office and property teams work together to exceed our initial goal and we are excited to see what we'll accomplish before the year is over!

Article's home office recently held our annual Friendsgiving Potluck Lunch (and competition)! We're grateful that we could come together and celebrate during this busy season, and thankful for all of our team members and everything that they do!

Article is celebrating an important team member milestone as Joel Gawlik has reached 10 years with us! As our Vice President of Business Operations FP&A, he has been a pivotal force behind our financial and operational success, using his expertise in analyzing financial performance and delivering critical insights to help shape our decision-making across property management operations. As we celebrate Joel’s 10 years with us, we recognize not just his technical expertise but also the passion, commitment, and personal touch he infuses into everything he does. Here’s to many more years of success and shared accomplishments ahead!
