Today (and every day) we celebrate a team that has been helping people breathe a little easier since the 90’s. That’s when the brilliant minds in our Trenton, Ontario location, formerly GlobalMed, began our work in sleep, respiratory and smoke evacuation. Since then, we’ve crossed an ocean opening a site in Guangzhou, China, and contributed to improving countless lives. Their impact keeps us inspired every day.

Another integral piece of the Aptyx story is balloon molding. For nearly 30 years we’ve been blow molding balloons and cuffs, the ideal complement to our dip molding capabilities. Originating at our South Glens Falls, NY facility, the former Bates Industries, this team also brought even more extrusion and medtech assembly to our network. Today we’re celebrating the people and passion behind this legacy - and the entire Aptyx team. Your dedication truly is the heart and soul of our “Making It Happen” culture!

The world of medical device assembly was A LOT different back in 1990. That’s when we first started our journey with #extrusion and #catheter assembly. Today, we support a broad range of cutting-edge medical devices that positively impact millions of lives. This holiday season, we’re celebrating the people that make it happen every day, and our original teams – including the team in Jaffrey, NH, formerly Medefab, our first assembly operation.

From heartbeats to Houdini, it’s all happening here. What’s that, you ask? In this interview with Kayleen Brown on the DeviceTalks podcast, Tobe Allenbrand shares how 'Making it happen' is more than a tagline. At Aptyx our team is intensely focused on solving challenges and making winning solutions happen. Engineering truly is the heartbeat of the company and there may be no better example than Ray Scherer aka the Great Raydini. Like Houdini, he never gets boxed in! Ray and the team are laser focused on helping our customers achieve success. Give it a watch below. #MakingItHappen #WeWinTogether

As we wrap up the year, we’re celebrating the roots of the Aptyx family tree. Our journey began in 1949 with Seitz in Torrington, CT, crafting precision gears and laying the foundation for decades of expertise in complex injection molding. Since then, we’ve grown to excel at #molding intricate, medical device components in facilities from Tempe, AZ to Changzhou, China. Here’s to the legacy — and future — we’re building together!
