🚨 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝘼𝙣𝙯𝙚𝙣𝙣𝙖 🚨 This week, Anzenna made a groundbreaking discovery within a client's digital ecosystem. Despite utilizing an application whitelisting agent, our advanced AI engine rapidly evaluated 49,903 applications and unearthed 179 high-risk apps. These weren’t just any apps—they were deceptively malicious, masquerading as legitimate software like ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot. 🔍 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗜𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: In an era leaning towards passwordless authentication, these risky applications represent a new wave of threats. Once installed, they can turn rogue, compromising individual machines and potentially an entire network. These are the sophisticated attacks that traditional EDRs and vulnerability scans often miss. 💡 𝗔𝗻𝘇𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗮’𝘀 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁: We didn’t just find the needle in the haystack—we virtually eliminated the haystack! Anzenna’s AI engine reduced the customer’s workload by over 99.5%, swiftly identifying and addressing threats that could have gone unnoticed. 🛠️ 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲: Our one-click remediation feature streamlined the process, allowing for immediate neutralization of threats without burdening the customer with additional workload. This level of automation and precision ensures that businesses can trust their cybersecurity measures are both efficient and effective. 🔗 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Every industry, from finance to healthcare, relies on robust cybersecurity strategies to protect sensitive data. Anzenna's ability to spot and stop these camouflaged threats is more than just a technical win; it's a cornerstone for modern digital security frameworks. Stay safe and smart with Anzenna, 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙚'𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙨, 𝙬𝙚'𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢.

Many organizations mistakenly believe that having a DLP program is the same as managing insider risk. However, this misconception can leave significant security gaps. DLP focuses on monitoring and blocking specific sensitive data transactions, based on predefined rules that might not quickly adapt to changing behaviors. In contrast, an effective Insider Risk Program dynamically interprets a wide array of malicious and accidental insider indicators (such as Identity, SaaS, Data exfil, IP exfil, Device threats, App threats, Email threats), identifying potential gaps before they turn into breaches. Anzenna takes a comprehensive approach by examining 15 different attack vectors, extending far beyond basic user behavior. This broad perspective allows us to spot subtle, often overlooked signs of risk that DLP alone might not catch, addressing them proactively. As the source of truth across these different types of indicators, Anzenna enhances and complements traditional DLP solutions, making our approach integral to a robust security strategy. Moreover, Anzenna seamlessly integrates with top DLP providers, enhancing existing frameworks without the need for extensive overhauls. Our technology complements DLP systems by adding layers of intelligence and adaptability, enabling organizations to craft a more robust defense against both external and internal risks. Understanding the distinct roles of each program is crucial for truly safeguarding assets from the inside out. Isn’t it time we rethink our approach to internal security? #Cybersecurity #InsiderRisk #DLP #DataSecurity #Cybersecurity #DLP #RiskManagement #DataProtection #SecurityIntelligence #InfoSec #ThreatDetection #CyberDefense #InsiderThreat

  • In our thought-provoking discussion with Tim Brown, CISO at SolarWinds, outlines three transformative strategies for tackling insider risk: 1. 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁: It's time we acknowledge the escalating role of insiders in circumventing security measures. Understanding this can fundamentally shift how we protect our assets.    2. 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀: We must enhance our ability to interpret insider behaviors. By harnessing AI, we can gain deeper insights and anticipate risks more accurately.    3. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Identifying which roles or individuals pose the highest risk allows us to allocate our security resources more effectively. Treating some roles as 'special' isn't preferential; it's strategic. At Anzenna, we are in lockstep with Tim’s vision, especially about utilizing AI to elevate behavior analytics. Our platform is engineered to help you identify, mitigate, and remediate insider risks by providing actionable intelligence that is as intuitive as it is powerful. 🔗 to full webinar- https://lnkd.in/gjFgm9gp Let's discuss: How are you adapting your insider risk strategy in today's complex security landscape? #InsiderRisk #Cybersecurity #Anzenna #AGENTLESS
