Focused on expanding access to convenient, high-quality healthcare services within the surrounding community, Anchor Health Properties is pleased to announce the transformative redevelopment of a former movie theater into an 11,835 square foot patient-centric specialty eye center in Hixson, Tennessee. Anchor worked alongside Southeastern Retina Associates (SERA) in a fee-for-service development role providing comprehensive expertise and resources throughout every phase. Implementing innovative structural solutions, the team transformed two former theater rooms into clinical spaces by leveling the sloped floors with bracing and platforming to ensure optimal patient flow and accessibility. The lobby was redesigned to create a welcoming waiting and registration area, incorporating SERA’s brand aesthetic to build continuity across their network of clinics. The repurposed space allows three providers to see patients simultaneously and features dedicated exam pods, specialized exam rooms, and lab space for clinical trials.
