At #AAHKS2024, Simon W. Young, MD received the Clinical Research Award for the abstract Intraosseous Regional Diclofenac for Post-Op Pain Management in Total Knee Arthroplasty. In this study, Dr. Young studied the importance of postoperative pain management in primary total knee arthroplasty and how IORA of antibiotics for prophylaxis in TKA is known to increase local tissue concentrations.
