  • Had the opportunity to be on the Real Leaders podcast today. Great experience! Happy Halloween!

  • Had a great time hanging with folks that care about helping restore the planet through regenerative agriculture at FAI week in Minneapolis this week. • So excited to share that Alter Eco has been featured in Food Business Review. Our commitment to sustainable, eco-friendly practices has been recognized as a leader in the space. And that cute little girl in the picture is my granddaughter. That's why we do what we do at Alter Eco is to ensure the future generations have a planet that can sustain them and their lives.

  • Had a great week at Sweets & Snacks Expo last week. Thanks to the city of Indianapolis and the Indianapolis Convention Center for being great hosts. And thanks for NCA for putting on a great event. Looking forward to following up on the conversations that started there to see how we can move forward with great opportunities ahead for Alter Eco.

Still rethinking my entire life and approach to food waste after our incredibly energizing NextUp event at the STRONG ROOTS office featuring the enlightened and approachable Heather K. Terry. Some goodies we all went home with: 🌱 We waste over 2.5B tons of food per year (yeah that is about 40% of the food cultivated by farmers) 🌱 Anyone can compost! Look into it 🌱 Something as yummy as chocolate can have icky supply chain ethics, but we can support those ushering in the good like GoodSAM, PBC or Alter Eco 🌱 The change will come when we start to care and not a second before, why not think about weaving in more emission friendly veggies into our lives? Big thanks to the Strong Roots gang (Denisse Roca, Alina Mancino, Saoirse O'Leary, Jennifer Newman, Marc Gallagher, Maria Almeida, Quinn Costello, Joseph Mercer III, Omaira Martinez), NextUp New York, L&R DISTRIBUTORS, and Danone for supporting the event.
