With a dedicated barista serving up specialty drinks and a calendar full of engaging company events, the cafe is where ideas take flight and bonds of community are strengthened. It's not just a space, it's a shared experience that's integral to our office culture. Whether our teammates are working in our corporate office or at one of our communities across the country, being in the office has revolutionized the way we work. It facilitates real-time collaboration, problem-solving, and impromptu training sessions that are hard to replicate remotely. The chance encounters and "hallway conversations" have significantly deepened our understanding of the business, expanded our networks, and accelerated personal growth. At AIR Communities, we believe in going above and beyond to provide exceptional service all year round – and that includes spreading joy during the holiday season! While Santa may only work one night a year, our dedicated field team members bring the magic of the season to life every day. For the past couple of years, children at the beautiful community of One Canal in Boston have had the opportunity to send their wish lists directly to Santa with a special "Letters to Santa" mailbox placed in the community lobby. But the holiday cheer didn’t stop there. One Canal Service Manager Brenden, who has been leading this festive tradition, not only writes back to every letter, but he also makes surprise deliveries of books and recycled toys from "Santa" into the community’s package lockers. One Canal’s General Manager shared, "It’s all about creating special moments that matter for our residents." A huge thank you to the entire One Canal team for their efforts in making this holiday season brighter for our residents! ✨ A Shining Moment of Hope at AIR Communities ✨ Recently, our onsite and offsite teams gathered in Colorado for a powerful event: Lights of Hope, a fundraiser in partnership with the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) over $5,000 — with $2,500 in matching donations from AIR Gives. The funds will help increase access to cancer screening, prevention, and fund vital research. More than 150 luminary bags were decorated and displayed, each one representing a survivor, a loved one lost, or someone currently battling cancer. We were honored by moving speeches from AIR teammates, Marissa Beasley of ACS CAN, Dr. Linda Cook of the CU Cancer Center, and Kris Koehler, a cancer survivor who shared his inspiring story. As one AIR teammate noted, “I came into my wife's life after she was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer. She was taken to the hospital after an unrelated accident, only to be diagnosed with cancer that day. While that diagnosis affects our daily lives, it wasn't too late for my wife, as they were able to catch the disease before it spread,” David shared. “I value the work that the people from ACS do because the forefront of the battle against cancer starts with Americans having access to early detection and life-saving treatment.” Thank you to everyone who made this event possible — and for your ongoing support in the fight against cancer. Each luminary represents a life touched by cancer, a beacon of hope in the darkness. Your donation will directly support the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, advancing vital research, patient services, and advocacy. ✨ Donate $10 or more to receive a luminary, which you can decorate in honor of someone in your life affected by cancer. Luminaries can be picked up at the event or at the leasing office. Everyone is welcome to attend!
