Alex Colville, PhD, is a Co-Founder and General Partner at age1, a venture capital firm based in San Francisco funding moonshots in longevity. Dr. Colville is among the preeminent thought leaders in longevity biotech. Previously, he was an investor and the founding chief of staff at the Amaranth Foundation. He earned his PhD in Prof. Thomas Rando’s lab at Stanford University, conducting novel research on the plasticity of mammalian aging and its relationship with age-related diseases.
Dr. Colville will share his unique perspective on cutting-edge approaches to extend healthy lifespan in humans. He will discuss VC, recent developments in aging biology, and age1’s vision of making aging and age-related diseases optional for all.
