After graduating Waterloo almost a decade ago, he’s helped build 2 exited start-ups. He’s engineered different fintech systems ranging from PoS systems to prepaid cards. Most recently, he was at Ada (Series C backed by Spark Capital). Charan will be crucial in helping build software products that save small businesses all over America time and money, so they can focus on serving their communities. After graduating from IIT Mandi, Shobhit worked at several start-ups to help them get their products to market. Most notably, he was a senior software engineer at Series C (backed by Accel, General Catalyst, and more) start-up, CityMall, bringing e-commerce to the forgotten parts of India. We look forward to leveraging his expertise as we continue to scale and innovate in the SMB financial services space!

With over a decade of engineering experience, Vatsal has been instrumental the last two years at Affiniti, where he's managed our spend & expense management product from the first line of code. He began his career as an SDE at Amazon, contributing to the Alexa product line. Prior to joining Affiniti, Vatsal served as a Senior Software Engineer at Instacart during its Pre-IPO phase, where he played a key role in developing their Catalog & Ads platforms.
