This holiday season, our employees came together with generosity and care for our annual, employee-funded Angel Tree Holiday Drive. AES Ohio employees showed their dedication to the communities in which they live and work by providing over 180 gifts to 20 children—participants in the Building Bridges program—and their siblings. Building Bridges supports at-risk youth through early intervention, skill development, and community service opportunities. Through the program, young people build discipline and confidence to make positive life choices. All together, we’re spreading joy, supporting youth, and making a difference this holiday season.

We were honored to attend the Dayton NAACP Hall of Freedom Awards Friday, celebrating this year’s theme: "Fully Committed!" This powerful event brought together over 1,200 individuals dedicated to civil and human rights, showcasing the impact of community unity and commitment. Congratulations to all award recipients! A special highlight was hearing from Dayton’s own Curtiss Cook, whose journey from the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company to the big screen served as a moving reminder of the talent and resilience within our community. His story, along with those of all honorees, inspired us to strengthen our commitment to building a more inclusive and empowered Dayton. #FullyCommitted #DaytonNAACP #HallOfFreedom #CommunityImpact
