The scope of duties for the Mortgage Loan Specialist may include but are not limited to supporting the mortgage department personnel with all aspects associated with the mortgage loan process from origination to closing. To establish and maintain personal relationships with members, and to help guide and follow their mortgage loans from initial application through the loan closing process. As a Mortgage Lending professional, the Mortgage Loan Specialist is responsible for the preparation of closing instructions and performing company procedures required to close and fund residential mortgage loans in accordance with company and investor policies and requirements. An ideal candidate performs complex administrative duties, sends closing instructions in a timely manner, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Further, the position requires the ability to communicate with other team members in a manner that enhances the member experience as well as promotes positive and healthy morale. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, able to multitask and maintain accurate closing schedules. 2-year minimum experience and knowledge of loan and deposit accounts preferred.
