Interiors stylist Mieke ten Have doesn’t think you should be intimidated by the idea of setting a fabulous holiday table. She offers us her singular perspective on bringing joy and light into the darkness of winter—first and foremost with lots and lots of tapers. That, a well-stocked bar and a few colorful and insouciant pieces sourced on 1stDibs will set you up to be the host or hostess with the mostest this holiday season. https://bit.ly/400IFw5 #holidayseason #holidaytable #homedecor

1stDibs, tells ELLE DECOR—commenting on 1stDibs's 8th annual designer trend survey, which polled 643 international interior designers—that “vintage furniture continues to have broad appeal, even in rooms that skew heavily contemporary.” Furthermore, over eighty percent of respondents reported that they used at least one piece of furniture from the 1920s through the ’90s in their design schemes. #designtrends #2025trends #interiordesign

The owners of Vintage Luxury pulled some amazing pieces “Out of the Vault” for fashion editor Naomi Elizée to experience and admire. She’s in vintage heaven trying on some rare and spectacular designs, including a handmade brooch that once belonged to Coco Chanel and a pair of silver modern cuffs by Art Smith. We love how the holidays are a reminder to be generous, spread joy and celebrate one another. 1stDibs gets in the spirit of the season by partnering with Free Arts NYC, a non-profit that uses the arts to inspire young people from underserved communities to develop their creativity, confidence and skills to succeed. Last week, our team helped them create personalized affirmations and holiday cards in Free Arts programs in their New York City offices. #art #holidayseason #freeartsnyc

How do you become an art collector? Going to galleries is a great way to start learning. Everette Taylor, CEO of Kickstarter and a recent addition to the board of 1stDibs, spent time recently visiting Lehmann Maupin, Yossi Milo and Yancey Richardson Gallery — all art galleries that are represented on the platform. He gave us a window into his own formative experiences with Black figurative art and explained how his passion evolved to include Abstract works and even furniture that is functional art. As he says, “If you’re not collecting on 1stDibs, what are you doing?” Tap here to read more in our Introspective feature: https://bit.ly/4ihdjIR #artgallery #artcollector #art
