(edited)I do a "walkaround test". Walk the floor at 4PM. Look for people (not coders or project managers - they read _everything_, and are unlike 'real' users) who are browsing ESPN, etc. Ask if they've got a minute to do a quick test on your {printed | iPad | web-based} prototype or sketch. Embarrassment at being spotted will usually make them comply to do 'real' on-the-clock work. My rule: "If you want to prescribe meds, I need a pharmacist. If you want to land a plane on a carrier, I need a Naval Air Traffic Controller. If you want to know 'Can you see the GO button?', any jamoke in the building can tell me that, and I can go find some who aren't doing much around 4PM".

If Participants from personas are not available, You can consider to do: 1. Hallway testing 2. Test it among your own colleagues 3. Involve personas as early in the design as possible. This can validate solutions. 4. Test it with SMEs Few ideas you can try.

When time is tight and there’s no access to users, here’s what I do: - Ask team members outside the design process to- test key tasks—fresh eyes often catch usability gaps. - Use a heuristic checklist to identify potential issues quickly. - Focus on 1-2 critical user journeys instead of testing everything. - Reflect on insights from similar past projects to guide decisions. Everything else is a bit unrealistic when time is short :-)

I would prefer to go with Guerrilla Testing method because of two reasons :- First, It’s fast, inexpensive, and gives quick insights into major usability issues. Second, it will help me to get a feedback from different age group of people who were targeted during the persona development .
