Technology is always resisted but when its fruits are received or when the objectives are understood it becomes the way of living. So when technology is resisted explain objectives first… adopt and show some early low hanging fruits and benefits… Automatically acceptance will come.

As a leader and project team player, I understand that people often don't find it easy to quickly accept a change when they already have a way to get things done and get the expected results easily. In a situation where we need new technology to achieve better results, I will initiate a team meeting where we: Re-visit the project goal to realign thoughts, and understand the challenges Introduce the new tool and why it has to be considered Bring the tool experts on board to train the team on how to achieve the best results with the adoption. I disagree to resisting technology in construction communication. Resisting technology amounts to limiting progress and success of the project. Whenever there is a new technological innovation in construction communications, the objectives and purpose of the technology should rather be reviewed and the opportunity harnessed to foster organisations growth and project success. When necessary, appropriate trainings to understand the effective use and maximising the benefits of the technology should be provided or organised for required stakeholders.

To innovate is to change, the innovation of one generation is the tradition of the next, so if you do not innovate you would be sentenced to the next generation which would disappear. To evolve, it is necessary to align disruptive technologies with triple impact projects (social and economic environment) and show the current era the benefits and productivity improvements introduced by the use of new tecnologías.
