I first ask them questions: - So that I can understand the feedback correctly and clear their concerns. - So I can finally translate feedback into workable insights. In one campaign, when it was launched, the client was interested in messaging and wanted changes in messaging. Rather than dwelling on taking defeat, we took it as an opportunity for changing the story, thereby increasing the engagement level by one notch. I focus on the cooperation with the client, making sure that he really hears while my team changes the strategy inline with his vision as well as the goals.

I always like to ensure I thoroughly understand the feedback and the underlying reasons for the requested changes. Adjustments to campaigns can easily be made, but it's important to ensure the adjustments will adequately address the core concerns. Once you've engaged in active listening outlining the solution are the next steps. I would outline the changes to ensure that each change is accomplishing the goal the client believes that it would. Being flexible and able to clearly communicate is key. Following the implementation of the changes a follow up conversation to review how the implemented changes are working would be my last step.

For addressing the actual changes, getting to the core of the request is essential to ensure that the proposed adjustments are not superficial, but can truly address the issue. This insight can enable the proactive identification of other changes that may need to be made elsewhere. Next, depending on the significance of the changes, expectation management is critical. Ensure you are properly managing client expectations based on input from other stakeholders i.e. vendors if all changes are feasible and/or what the implications will be for making them i.e. delays in launch.

Is the result not aligned with defined #metrics ? or It was missed to define in the beginning. This will align your discussion with #client. Considering the metrics were defined but we are not able to achieve the same. I would recommend to #analyze below steps. 1. Check if the current #results are meeting the #performance #metrics up-to 50% or above ? 2. Since how long campaign is running ? 3. The #channel is aligned per metrics? basis on these ques, initially quick #optimization,#A/B #testing can be planned. #Data #driven facts will convince client to re-think about major changes. Candid #communication is always effective.
