To better understand the challenges faced by a team, I have found it helpful to first gather feedback from team members who are on the front lines every day. What barriers do they perceive as hindering their success? Are these barriers related to systemic issues, skill sets, training deficits, or low morale? After collecting and reviewing team responses for trends, a plan can be formulated to address the identified issues.

Why do we assume that its a gap in the people’s skill in hitting targets? It maybe a gap in the programs needed or a key item for the field people to use to bridge the gap… best to do a full analysis why there is a gap in the first place and work on filling these gaps

Also, consider alternatives like improving workflows, leadership support, or employee motivation. A holistic approach ensures sustainable performance improvement.

Secondly, introduce reward system like monthly or weekly.
