(edited)I will personally: 1. Enthusiastically inform the staff about how these changes can benefit the organisation. 2. Educate them on role requirments and provide the necessary resorces to support their needs. 3. Emphasize the importance of creating a clear vision, enabling staff to self-actualise within the new rolls and framework. 4. Keep communication chanels open for updates and Q&A sessions. 5. Suggest implementing this change step-by-step, allowing adequate time for ajustment, rather than introducing it suddenly. 6. Encourage staff by providing reminders about adopting and using the new framework. For retention, a section should be added within the periodic performance evaluations to ensure alignement and progress.

That's one of the biggest mistakes we can make: trying to "ignite their enthusiasm for learning". All of us know that exercising is essential for our mental and physical health and yet not too many of us keep a consistent workout routine. Rather than trying to ignite their enthusiasm, I'd make sure that every second of training really is effective both in terms of learning results, but also business metrics: OKRs, KPRs, success criteria.

To ignite enthusiasm for reskilling, start by addressing the why. Communicate how digital skills align with personal growth and career security. Highlight success stories of employees who've embraced digital roles and the positive impact on their careers. Foster a culture of curiosity by offering interactive workshops, gamified learning platforms, and real-world projects that showcase the relevance of new skills. Provide tangible incentives like certifications or internal opportunities tied to skill acquisition. Lastly, lead by example—show your team that you are also committed to learning. When they see the organization investing in their future, resistance often turns into excitement.

I highlight how new skills can advance careers and simplify tasks. Offering incentives like bonuses or additional time off can also boost motivation. Creating a supportive environment where peer learning is encouraged and ongoing support is provided helps reduce anxiety. By demonstrating value and providing the right support, I can ignite enthusiasm for learning within my team.
