Set priorities straight:List and prioritize tasks, focusing on the most critical ones first. This way, you prevent burnout by tackling high-priority tasks and delegating or automating less essential ones.### *Lead with empathy:Actively support your team by understanding their challenges and providing encouragement. (edited)First step is to definitely list and prioritise the assigned work and set a WIP limit to set your focus right. Some questions to ask yourself may be - Are all the tasks at hand definitely required to be done? How critical are each of the tasks assigned to you? Can any of the tasks be automated or delegated? Is anyone else blocked if you do not bring a task to closure? It's always better to focus and complete the top few priority tasks than to try and juggle a whole lot and then deliver none or worse, burn yourself out trying to tackle everything.

lead by example and ensure that you are actively involved in supporting your team members in managing their workload. Show empathy and understanding towards their challenges and provide encouragement and motivation to help them stay focused and productive. In conclusion, helping team members manage their workload effectively is a crucial responsibility of a leader. By assessing the current workload, creating a plan of action, fostering open communication, providing resources and tools, and leading by example, you can support your team members in achieving a healthy work-life balance and preventing burnout.

Starting with Organisational Priority, I work closely with team to make them realize that and reprioritise their task. Additionally understand if any task can be suspended if traction is challenging and have missed timelines multiple times.. Meanwhile, go extra mile to talk to the member if they need any professional/personal help to have work-life balance and reduce the mental pressure. Less Stress Employee = More Saving Energy

Usually it happens for a manager for overwhelmed work load in team. I guess it can be managed by taking care of few things Prioritising things by setting from most important and urgent to least ones (considering from different perspectives as per your scope of work) Distributing work load among team keeping in view their skills and potential Using technology which can reduce human effort Discussions and conclusions And obviously some time to relax and reenergise to boost up the work Setting and meeting the timelines with supporting and developing team effort Finally appreciating once the things are done

I would help my overwhelmed team by: Firstly dividing the workload into 3 categories - Urgent, Important and least important. Urgent - To be dealt with on priority. Assign the urgent task to my team members based on their skills, experience & capability of handling the job. And later in the same manner deal with the important and least important tasks. Allocate necessary tools/workflow/software to automate the process so that such kind of overwhelming workload doesn't arise in the future Also strategically think of dealing with such upcoming workload, its allocation and execution.

Here are my strategies for easing the load and keeping your team on track : First you Need to resolve the conflicts promptly!! After that Implement the efficient processes to work together and be more productive!! Need to automate the repetitive tasks to Provide a good flexibility and autonomy!! Should monitor everyone's performance and have feedback sessions to optimize team productivity and success!! Encourage innovation & ideas And need to stay adaptable and open to change!! .

To manage an overwhelmed team effectively, start by prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact. Break down larger projects into smaller, manageable steps. Delegate tasks according to each team member’s strengths and capacity. Encourage open communication, so team members can share challenges early. Implement time management techniques like the Pomodoro method to improve focus. Consider adjusting deadlines or redistributing tasks where possible. Monitor progress regularly and provide support to avoid burnout. Promote work-life balance by encouraging breaks and managing expectations on availability.

This is very common thing faced by most of the employees and managers. It is needed to be discussed first that what challenges they are facing actually. If their workload is manageable but not priorities than it is much needed to be done the first thing first. If they already have done this and after that scenario occurs than we have to make a strategy. 1) Most Important 2) Less Important 3) Least Important I will keep myself engage with them, share their workload, finish the tasks and than we will going to do a pizza party. I believe and what i learned from my seniors, take care of your team, make them feel they are valued, share their pain, you will rule.
