Bake in recognition into your processes so it happens more than 1x a year in their annual review.

I find that sometimes holding a team or department appreciation day helps to show your appreciation and boosts morale. You can give out small gifts, or play games and award the winners. Do a catered luncheon. It doesn’t need to be anything expensive. Making sure to also maintain focus on the positives and show recognition not only for great work, but also birthdays and anniversaries. Even small gestures can go a long way to show your agents and team(s) that you care and appreciate them.
