Any crisis situation is the best test of leadership. Keeping calm, weighing all options and ensuring that the team too doesn’t panic. And as it unfolds there are various dimensions that need to taken care of,either internal or external. I prefer to have a task force of key people who know the subject matter and work closely with them , take regular feedback on the decided plan and progress, help needed. During this it is important to have clear vertical and horizontal communication , this helps to kill all gossips and have organisational alignment and focus on striding over the situation By keeping the seniors updated on the progress helps alignment of future strategies and build confidence in the team

In a crisis, generating clarity is the most important thing. As a leader, it's essential to establish clear priorities and expectations. By providing concise and actionable directives, you can ensure that your team remains focused and aligned. Open and honest communication is another crucial factor. Creating a safe space for team members to share concerns and ideas fosters trust and collaboration. By actively listening and providing support, you can empower your team to navigate challenges effectively. By prioritizing clear communication and fostering a supportive environment, you can guide your team through even the toughest of times.

-
Immediate Clarity: Communicate openly with the team, ensuring everyone understands the problem, urgency, and key priorities. Centralized Communication: Use a single platform (like Slack or email) for updates, ensuring all information is accessible and clear. Active Listening: Encourage team members to express concerns and ideas, addressing issues promptly. Delegation & Accountability: Assign clear roles and responsibilities, and set short-term achievable goals to regain momentum. Regular Check-ins: Hold quick, daily standups to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed. Transparency & Support: Keep everyone informed about decisions and offer support to maintain morale.
-
It's really important to take account of the situation first. Identify the situation and the gaps first. Understand the situation and try to bridge the gaps one by one. Call a full team meeting, including all team members, to stress the need for collaboration and cooperation and also make your team understand the prevalent crisis and discuss the way forward plan. Then one can keep a regular weekly meeting to understand concerns and supervise the plan in progress until it becomes ingrained in the culture.

I see crisis as opportunities. Every happening is a good happening. When crisis occurs, it brings us in realisation to work harder to keep the team intact to face and solve it. By having regular meetings we can find the gaps, restrategize and close the gaps together leading to the team success.
