First of all, it's always so crucial to ensure clear communication about potential expectations between sellers and clients, from prices to services provided to the goals of both, because ambiguity will always just lead to a dead end. Say, for instance, you can pull some strings and give your client a discount, but there's always just so much you can do too right? So if your client is being too pushy about aligning more with their goals over yours regardless of continuous communication, that might be a sign to drop them.

It’s always good to communicate and not just with key stakeholders but with the internal team to find out if the alignment is right..regular check ins and being transparent with client always work. I have found out that keeping clients informed well in hand if there is a unknown variable in project that might lead to extension of deadlines and /or increase in price, has made the client appreciate our work more.

Managing customer demands is always a challenge. To do so, it is always important to understand what the demands are, what problems the customer is concerned about, and then prioritize the solution for the most critical demands. After prioritization, at this point, a little flexibility will be important, but set limits. Place value on the value of the solution to align conflicts and gradually reach a point of consensus. Once a consensus is reached, spend energy on continuous follow-up and keep the customer updated.
