These are some of my guiding principles for showcasing thought leadership on social media: Inform and inspire: Share unique insights and practical tips that solve real problems. Tell stories: Authentic experiences, wins, and lessons learned resonate deeply. Use varied formats: Videos, infographics, and concise posts keep content fresh. Encourage engagement: Ask thoughtful questions and respond to comments. Add value: Focus on content that educates, entertains, or empowers, not just self-promotion. Stay consistent: Quality trumps quantity, but regular posting keeps you visible. These steps help me create meaningful content that builds trust and sparks conversations.

The most important thing to build leadership through social media is to know which audience we are targeting, to make an effort to think about who we want to influence. Then I always recommend producing genuine information and showing facts that are not trending topics. That is, installing new topics on the agenda or alternative views.

Understand your core audience. What are the topics on interest for them? What guidance are they looking for from experts? Make the content relatable so that it's clear on who it targeting. It's important to keep the content simple prompting conversation, brainstorming from the audience. Give space for the audience/critics to comment/engage with their own perspectives, thoughts and ideas. The engagement is always better on social media when the conversation is diverse, without any objective conclusion. Ideas, stories, contexts, case studies keep the attention of the audience encouraging them to react and participate/join with you.
