In the profession of teaching, collective endeavour focussed towards students growth is key to success, hence open communication becomes inevitable wherein the opinion of each team member becomes extremely valued ..But with all its benefits we do face lot of challenges also ,the biggest being each wants to be heard and sometimes this can be a drawback..I always try to adopt transparent mode of communication and holding weekly meetings which allows each participant the right to be heard ..we also make it a point to discuss, before implementing various ideas . This practice gives each person to evaluate the situation and hence reduce tensions which otherwise can arise due to open communication

Team should be fully aware about the goals that they need to achieve. If this is the driving force then the team would ensure that they listen, acknowledge, accept, respect and cooperate with each other to achieve these goals. Tensions in a team are normal. We’re all human, and different perspectives naturally clash at times. What matters is handling conflict constructively to grow stronger as a team. Create a Safe Space to Talk: Encourage open communication where concerns can be shared without fear. A simple “How are you feeling about this?” can defuse tensions. Focus on the Problem, Not the Person: Address issues by asking, “How can we solve this?” instead of assigning blame. Catch Issues Early: Act quickly with informal chats to clarify misunderstandings before tensions escalate. Build Trust Beyond Work: Foster casual interactions like team lunches or Slack chats to strengthen relationships and improve collaboration.
