At some point I moved away from saying work life balance and started thinking about a work life partnership. I didn't coin the phrase, I read it somewhere or heard someone else say it, but I grabbed it and made it my own. Let the lessons from work enrich your life and let your experience from home feed your passion at work. There are some very successful and very intelligent people in this thread sharing thier best practices to delineate and find time to focus on self care, and I'm glad that works for so many people, but if it's not working for you then stop. Take down the barrier, don't view your day as two parts with one negative and one positive, think of your whole day as one experience and work to make that experience positive.
