Although the MarTech landscape is dynamic, the main point from my perspective would be: don't let FOMO blur your eyes. There will be always an extra set of metrics to add and track, but what can you do with them? Are they convertible to any feasible actions? ‘So what if the share of AI-generated posts went up?’ ANY business will expect Marketing to be a revenue center, not a cost center. No one (aside from the Marketing team members) would care about your KPI dashboard. So to keep your KPIs relevant, align them with the overall company goals.
