As many before me have said listen openly as what they say may or may not be the true root issue. A good manager needs to be able to identify what the issue truly is. Depending on the issue you may or may not be able to address or fix it. However, you do need to create an environment where the team can trust each other and feel safe enough to openly communicate allowing them to put their focus back on track. Often conflicts are rooted in small misunderstandings, identifying them and clearing the air prevents small issues from becoming big distractions. It all comes down to listening, actually hearing, and having integrity.
