1- Focus on the issue, not the person. 2- Accept criticism, even if it doesn’t feel valid initially, to build rapport. 3-Remember, criticism is usually about the work, not you. 4-Manage emotions calmly (I’m an expert in handling such situations) to prevent escalation. 5-Listen carefully without interrupting or preparing a response prematurely. 6-Acknowledge points professionally and neutrally. Review feedback objectively, identify valid points, and plan to address them.

Try to understand that all the feedback is a present. So be grateful. Maybe they're showing you something you didn't notice. Sometimes there might be ill intentions... work places are also politic spaces were there are different forces trying to control the "discurse or the collective storytelling". There might be important to try to keep your amigdala in calm. You can show your emotions "Wow, ypur words could have been a little bit harsh, but I'm going to keep that on mind. Thanks". And, finally, sometimes things can be little tight... if we are choosing something or discussing about some important matter... On that cases, use the maieutica or the Socratic methods. Ask people in order to lead to the place you think is more reasonable.

It should be natural to challenge each others quality of work in a professional environment. I'd ask if there's anything else besides said critique, ask for specification or examples/ instances if the initial feedback is not clear to me and ask suggestions on how they'd want that task/ communication/ whatever be done in the future, then I'd adhere/ compromise or explain the reason on why I can't do that or even meet in the middle. If this affects all of the meeting participants, I'd do it in the meeting, if not, I'd take it offline.

I listen and keep in mind it's not personal. Analyze the facts and try to build something possitive from one's comment. Not everybody has to be happy with your actions, critics have to be taken positively. We learn everyday.
