For me, personally, it's about transparency and communication. I like to see how changes are going to be managed, tested that they meet the objectives, validated and communicated to the right stakeholders. Moreover, that mitigations and safeguards are in place in the event something goes wrong, because IT invariably does at the worst possible time! Thismeans I need to seee evidence there are robust management processes in place which take into account my service and my end users. If these elements can be evidenced to my satisfaction, then the trust is implicit.
