Assuming you have done your job correctly, and proposed a design solution that solves the problem at hand it may be time to take a step back from the direct project work and assess where the conflict is truly coming from. Where multiple stakeholders push for a different outcome of a project, you may have to create clarity of which objectives has a higher priority. In such cases the question becomes less of a design problem and more of a strategic issue. Depending on your role and responsibilities in the organization you may have to lean on your leadership to clarify priorities.
