Every year without fail, our marketing team was given the same budget and told to generate more MQLs. This is the norm for most marketing teams. A few thoughts: 1. Go get everyone a coffee. Every year when budgets came out, our team needed to just take a step back and breathe deeply. Take care of your people first and foremost. 2. Take inventory. You've probably got 3-4 tools or vendors that you're not using enough to justify their expense. Or you may have a tool with new features that can do most of what another tool is doing. 3. Adopt the "less is more" mentality. Some of the best campaigns and movies have been made on tiny budgets. If another team can do it on tight budgets, yours can too.
