A deliverable is defined by the expected outcome, in which the relationship are usually 1-to-many, where 1 outcome can be driven by many factors, which in turn becomes the deliverables. Aligning team members on deliverables requires a clear priority, communication and planning as the team needs to answer: 1. What would get us closer to the expected outcomes? 2. How hard is the effort for no 1? 3. How long is the time commitment for the effort? If all points are clearly communicated, it should help in managing the conflicting opinions. If any additional conflict arise, then the inputs need to be managed into phases which requires further prioritization based on the project's agreed framework to ensure opinions are well documented.
