When technical problems pop up before your big speech, stay calm and take a deep breath. First, acknowledge the glitch and let your audience know you have things in control. If its something that can be quickly fixed engage your audience through polls or a Q&A session. However if it cannot be sorted quickly think on your feet and incorporate storytelling to explain the slides you had in your presentation. Work on building relatability and an emotional connection with the audience. Also always practice your speech both with and without slides to truly internalise your speech - know the context from every angle so that such tech issues never worry you. Show confidence, and use your voice and expressions to keep the audience engaged.
