Efforts to achieve authentic inclusivity start with honoring inclusion on every level, before during and after the development of outreach materials. Do this by making sure your team and community partners are reflective of the people you want to reach and part of the outreach and decision making process.

I strongly believe that starting the entire process with a design workshop, where all key stakeholders participate, is essential for creating outreach program materials. Bringing everyone into the same room to develop the materials together is crucial. People who speak different languages have unique ways of expressing their emotions, feelings, and even subtle cues in communication. It is crucial for them to understand your objectives from the beginning so they can support the communication process. I’d invest my initial efforts in studying the key audiences the campaign is going to bring benefit to. Determine what their needs are and how I can scale and cater to ensure this brings value. Also, ensuring I have marketing materials and resources for my targeted audience and provide a custom support team to nurture and provide further assistance. Understanding your audience and their needs is critical.

There’s so many great answers here, but I’d like to flip the script a bit: -Hire staff from the communities your organization works with. -Pay community members to review and input on your content -Allow discomfort and channel it into organization learning opportunities -Partner with and compensate (financially or otherwise) hyper local organizations and community groups.

I struggle with guaranteeing inclusivity. Your overall outreach plan should include research so you fully understand your audience. From there, you develop the tactics to best reach that audience. To execute the tactics, you should incorporate or bring in the resources to help you communicate to that audience. By doing these things, you at least will be targeting your audience in an effort to achieve your goals.

Some of the things that I have seen in my journey till now is the issue of representation and first and most importantly the language representation. During college when I was heading events, I knew that to gain actual learning and success, one need to be inclusive of languages. Therefore, being a part of such team, I'll start of working only after looking at the data of the members or the participants. The data will help me tailor the presentations, exibitions and other things to the language of the members.
