I think 60% of the base for miscommunication is, lack of listening. Many team members listen to respond and not to understand. The communication should be 2 way always, the dictator, could also give chance to listener at end, just to understand his/her thoughts about the topic. Even if the dictator does not ask, may be a listener can take step ahead & try and clarify instead of assumptions. It makes the communication & life more easier/healthier.

I would do the following if applicable : - Take my team on a day-out with a planned activity to build moral and enhance engagement in addition to work plannings. Preferably end of week day to utilize weekend for emotional settlement. - in the beginning of the following week, I would have a meeting with the team, discuss work matters and observing the communication level and team moral.

Set Clear Expectations and deliverables - Clear tell your team what is expected out of them. 2. Document Everything - The human mind tends to forget stuff due to the complexities or due to the excess amount of information they process. 3. Organize resources & information - Identify the resources and information your team needs to deliver exceptional results and organize them in a way that is easily accessible to all. 4. Embrace mistakes - Miscommunication is a common thing and as a leader, recognise the efforts of your team members instead of criticizing.

Gather everyone together to understand what the root cause of the issue is or where it stems from. Gather opinions, make it a safe space for people to speak up- think psychological safety. Ask what needs to change and how, action this and hold each other accountable as one team.
